Ash Williams Makes Charlotte’s “30 Under 30” List

The philosophy department congratulates Ash Williams for making Charlotte Agenda’s “30 Under 30” Class List for 2017. The annual list commends “young people [who] are leaving their marks on the city like never before.” Williams received their BA in Philosophy from UNC Charlotte in 2014 and their MA in Ethics and Applied Philosophy from UNC Charlotte in 2015. Williams currently is a community organizer who has “become one of the most prominent voices pushing for change and advocating for black lives in the city through ‘Charlotte Uprising.'” For more information and the complete list, click here.
