Department Awards Philosophy Prize to Lucas Carroll
Lucas Carroll is a triple major in Philosophy, Political Science, and Economics (although he tells us that philosophy is clearly the best!). His philosophical interests lie in ontology, semiotics, and the philosophy of logic, with his three favorite philosophers being Aquinas, Heidegger, and Hegel. After graduating, he hopes to continue his academic studies through the PhD level and, in his words, “to eventually mentor a new generation in the beautiful and exciting habit of thinking philosophically.”
